Shimano Tiagra 80WA
£864.99
Tried, Tested and trusted by the best, the Shimano Tiagra is widely accepted the most reliable big game fishing reel available.
Machined from solid aluminium stock, a cold forged aluminium spool, 2-Speed gearing, A-RB bearings and an elastomere grip power handle all combine to make this reel a truly trustworthy high end big game reel.
The 2 speed gearing offers a powerful yet sensible high speed of 2.5:1 where as the lower gear, coming in at 1.2:1 offers some serious torque when you’re up against it.
The huge spool capacity accommodates 1000m of our Extreme 130lb Hollow core and 100m of 130lb Momoi Hi-Catch topshot with ease and if you buy all 3 together we’ll load your reel up on our spooling machine and splice in the topshot free of charge.
Topshots are only available on 1000m bulk spools so we’ll fill up the reel and send the remainder in the post with the order 👍

Description
With a hydrothermal drag and pre-lubricated drag washer impervious to salt water, Tiagra reels remain in perfect control of the biggest, fastest game fish on the planet. The single piece aircraft aluminium frame is machine cut so it won’t distort under pressure of a big fish, the heavy duty stainless steel two speed gears are continuously meshed, and at 89 dB, the ratchet is loud enough to wake the sleepiest crew.
