9 Pattern Big Squid

Straight track 316 Stainless steel or Grade 5 Titanium round bar including our 1800lb centre block, 9′ Quick Change or 7″ Quick extra wide tracker options.
These bars benefit from our updated ‘Bat Wing’ squid pattern that has been progressively developed through testing throughout the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons.

This increases stability and allows these bars to be successfully trolled at various distances from the boat.
Our 9 pattern with a Titanium bar is a medium weight set up so doesn’t cause too much drag or deaden the fight, however still maintains the ability to raise big bluefins with the larger profile squids.
This pattern is also super stable, easy to deploy and is still one of our favourite bars to use, taking countless tunas throughout the south coast.
Try one of these with your favourite stinger on a high line at the back of your spread in the shotgun position for optimum results.

These bars have been catching Big Tuna since the release in 2021 and are very popular in the Northern fishery.
